Role Description
The duties for this role will be split between the Strategic Industry Analysis (SIA) and Account Management teams. As an ACTI All Source Intelligence Analyst, you will report to the Lead of the SIA Team of Accenture Security’s Global Threat Team (GTT). In SIA, you will research, analyze, and report on cyber security issues related to industry, technology, cyber threat actors, and geopolitical conditions. This position involves in-depth research, collaboration with industry specialists and peers, development of short- and long-term research projects, production of finished intelligence for tactical and executive audiences, and the presentation of findings through briefings and external engagements.
In Account Management, you will be responsible for providing support to our Account Management Team by facilitating client needs through the implementation/review/creation of Intelligence Collection Requirements (ICR) and collaboration with the other ACTI analysis teams. This position involves in-depth specialized research, collaboration with industry specialists and peer analysts, development and maintenance of short- and long-term research projects, a high degree of writing for tactical and executive audiences, and the presentation of findings through briefings and external engagements.
Both roles require basic knowledge of all-source intelligence analysis, i.e., processing and analysis of multiple data sources according to intelligence analysis discipline.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborative production of threat assessment reports that highlight a company’s risk score based on a prior assessment of that company’s industry-based threat landscape and company-specific digital footprint.
  • Production of scheduled and ad hoc industry-specific, open source, and geostrategic intelligence to meet client requirements for understanding their threat exposure and affecting the appropriate defense and response.
  • Deep dive analysis of threats faced by specific industry verticals in which Accenture operates.
  • Contribution to both teams’ overall delivery effectiveness and efficiency, such as by contributing to analyst workflow automation, trialing new tools, and contributing to strength, weakness, opportunity, and threat (SWOT) analysis of existing delivery methodologies.
  • Respond to client requests for information (RFIs).
  • Produce high-level briefings and materials on industry-focused cybersecurity issues.
  • Engage with peers among Accenture Security's clientele and their industries to determine intelligence requirements, reporting use cases, and feedback on ACTI products.
  • Assist with Accenture Security engagements that involve on-site and remote work with clients, using subject-matter expertise to help develop, uplift, and mature ACTI operations.
  • Support Accenture Security business development and marketing initiatives by representing ACTI and Accenture Security at briefings, conferences and industry forums.
  • Author a range of products, including formal reports and blogs, which distill complex industry and geopolitical trends into actionable intelligence that clients can use in their decision-making.
  • Travel, occasionally, as ACTI is a client-focused organization, and this position may require doing so to address client needs, enhance deliverables, or otherwise support projects..

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience, preferably relating to politics, intelligence, or information security.
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience involving analysis of information from disparate sources and synthesizing it into concise and actionable reports for a varied audience across different governance levels.

Required Skills
  • Ability to conduct open-source intelligence collection and analysis.
  • Ability to produce intelligence products at the tactical, operational, and strategic levels.
  • Open-source intelligence (OSINT), social media intelligence (SOCMINT), human intelligence (HUMINT), and technical intelligence (TECHINT) gathering skills.
  • Basic knowledge of open-source tools, such as Shodan, Maltego, PassiveTotal.
  • Good understanding of the intelligence lifecycle and associated analytic methodologies (Cyber Kill Chain, Diamond Model, ATT&CK, etc.).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate complex concepts at a high level while retaining meaning and highlighting features in a way that maximizes audience engagement
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Ability to work with a high degree of independence.

  • Strong analytic skills.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific cyber defense practices, especially as relates to the Financial Services industry.
  • Flexibility to complete short-deadline assignments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Basic knowledge of threat intelligence and cyber defense concepts.
  • Basic familiarity with cyber espionage groups and cybercrime threat campaigns, including but not limited to their associated TTPs and malicious tools.
  • Basic familiarity with computer network protocols, computer incident response, system forensic analysis, network forensic analysis, scripting, data mining, statistical analysis, data analytics, large data analysis, and/or interview techniques.
  • Project management experience, especially in financial performance tracking.

Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
