Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
The position is reposible for the seasonal creation of the YOUTH apparel range, from range planning through product lifecycle management. Product plans must align with short and long term marketing, financial growth objectives in accordance with global brand strategies. Additional responsibilities are to ensure that the apparel product marketing team is supported and organized in day to day tasks and responsibilities, such as driving all digital tasks and systems including DMT, MP, FLEX PLM, as well as managing photography, image approval, F&B’s, Calendar and Sample Orders. This role is also important in the gathering and sharing of information amongst team members and global regions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ownership of YOUTH apparel range, including managing the product creation process from building clear briefs through go-to market functions
  • Collaboration with design, developement, commercial teams and accounts to ensure optimal range and products
  • Communication to all key stakeholders, internal and external on all seasonal updates/changes
  • Identify category growth opporunitites and new product potential
  • Focus on consumer and market insights globally and share with teams on a regular basis
  • Research and analysis of key competitors, consumer and competitive trends as well as learning customer needs globally
  • Create and manage a sharepoint solution for updating and regularly sharing apparel specific information to key Carlsbad and globally based internal stakeholders
  • Create and maintain seasonal Global Line Lists for each product category, including Men’s, Women’s and Youth apparel, as well as Acessories, Corporate, SP and Key account
  • Help drive and support all aspects of our MP (Marketing Portal) data base for Men’s, Women’s and Promo apparel
  • Lead the global apparel photography efforts during key stages
  • Manage change/add documents throughout the season
  • Lead the DMT board creation efforts for each creation season, working closely with Men’s and Women’s apparel PM’s
  • Ensure our apparel war room, storage room, and key product display areas are clean and organized for maximum impact
  • Assist in product preparation of seasonal lines, including sorting, steaming, and merchandising for GTMFC.
  • Support the sample ordering process at CR1, CR2, and late add milestones
  • Hold regular calls with our regions to ensure they are supported

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
  • College Degree or equivalent, preferably with a focus in Business or Marketing
  • Apparel industry experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of golf and the overall industry
  • Passion for sports, fashion and growing a global business
