  • Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field
  • 3+ years experience as an analyst or engineer in the data/statistical/BI space
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
  • Experience with Excel and VBA
  • Experience with SQL, statistical analysis tools, Tableau, and Quicksight
  • Experience extracting data using SQL and AWS database architectures
The Sub Same Day Delivery Team is looking for a Business Analyst (BA) to drive the innovation and analytics behind processes that impact last mile quality and cost. The BA will use data to support sortation and dispatch optimization recommendations, evaluate the impact of new or changed processes, and identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and scale. . This role is located in Seattle.
Major Responsibilities Include:
  • Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions

  • Make recommendations for new metrics, techniques, and strategies

  • Define the data elements and data structure that our team should leverage to enable analytical and reporting capabilities for our business development team

  • Design and influence operational best practices for reporting and analytics to enable the team to scale as we grow presence in new and existing territories

  • Preparing and delivering business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks
  • Master's degree in Business, Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field
  • 3+ years’ experience in operations and/or human resources
  • 5+ years’ relevant experience in a business analyst, data analyst, or statistical analyst role
  • Understanding of data warehousing and data modeling
  • Fluency in a modeling language such as Python or R
  • Experience with one or more of the statistical modeling languages/toolboxes
  • Experience using test/control methodology
  • Experience interacting effectively across job levels and with both internal and external partners
  • Be a creative, curious thinker with deep analytics experience who is enthusiastic about supporting a highly innovative team operating in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment
  • A a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, vocally self-critical, an ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
