Job Description
This role will be responsible for:
  • Coordination of customer specific design and development of automotive radar electrical control units (Radar-ECU) and the sensors associated with them for North American projects.
  • Evaluate customer requirements, will coordinate implementation of customer specific design features to fulfill requirements, and will perform requirements management in DOORS.
  • Evaluate customer requirements for environmental validation, will perform development of test plans in cooperation with reliability engineers, and will be responsible for creation and review of customer documentation and drawings for North American projects.
  • Coordinate HW topics during the acquisition phase for new customer programs and will be a technical counterpart for climatic, dynamic, and chemical environmental testing.
  • Act as a direct link to engineers located in Europe and the manufacturing plants.
  • 10-20 % domestic and international travel to visit customer, plant, and development locations.



  • Bachelor degree in an Engineering discipline
  • 1+ years of work experience in a business, educational or customer service driven environment.
  • Must possess a proactive attitude.
  • Must possess interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with coworkers and customers.

  • Master of Science in a technical Discipline, or Foreign equivalent.
  • Understanding of automotive development processes
  • Quality methods, such as: 8D, 5x why, FMEA, DRBFM.
  • Experience in Automotive Radar and Radar integration
  • Experience in FMCW principle, mechanical and RF-Integration of Radar Sensor Control Units in vehicles.
  • Measuring and Simulating of automotive Radar Sensor Control units.
