Job Description
  • Reach or exceed Video Systems sales targets by increasing share of wallet with existing customers and in existing business/verticals, focusing on large accounts and defining efficient ways of serving small accounts via telesales or distributors (e.g. securing run-rate business through DI’s based on a relevant network of indirect SI’s)
  • Sell according to the Video Systems strategic priorities, enable cross-BU selling
  • Achieve NPI (New Product Introduction) targets by pushing new products into the market
  • Develop, implement and follow-up on customer strategy for defined customer portfolio, securing pipeline on 3-4 times sales target levels
  • Understand and clarify project requirements & discuss with Application Design, Pre-/Post-Sales Technical Support
  • Alignment between BU’s in country, incl. organization and orchestration of Country Round Tables
  • Maintain a balance between motivating and managing people to meet defined objectives and sales activities in the field in conjunction with the team
  • Disciplinary & Target manager for multi-BU functions in the country
  • Support multi-BU Solution Strategy by working closely with all Sales functions to ensure a ‘virtual team’ is in place and to provide effective co-operation and alignment with the other functions which effects activities and plans aligned with Regional business priorities
  • Relationship management with top executives of large local (multi-BU) customers (`one face to the customer`)
  • Manage local Tax & Legal requirements
  • Responsible for Compliance, Credit Management and Organization & coordination of (internal) audits
  • Manage local succession planning
  • To mentor, coach and support other manager functions to generate and close sales opportunities together with Bosch System Integrators and Distribution Partners and ensure continued development of the UK team to support future growth
  • Head of legal entity and representative in local RB management board where applicable
  • Travel within the UK and Ireland, including a regular presence in the Denham office

  • Ideal candidate will have extensive experience within the UK Security / CCTV market and be able to adapt this to build and develop relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to grow our business within the market of UK and Ireland
  • Comprehensive experience of operating within the UK Security Industry with a wide network of contacts
  • Extensive sales experience at a senior level, with proven ability to reach set sales targets, working through a team
  • Experience of strategic planning, budget management and launching of new market initiatives
  • Ability to mentor and develop employees in line with sales objectives and to manage underperformance and resolve conflict situations
  • University Degree in Business or related field preferred
  • Must have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organisation skills, reliable, driven and team player focused to motivate and develop a team in UK and Ireland
  • Hold a clean UK driving license
