Product Marketing Manager, Facebook Reality Labs Hardware

The team working on Facebook Reality Labs Emerging Products and technologies at Facebook are on a mission to build the next computing platform centered around people. We continue to push the state-of-the-art with groundbreaking research into emerging technologies, software, and hardware that will help bring this vision to life. We are building a team focused on building new products that support this mission.
This person will be responsible for influencing product development and leading go-to-market strategy as part of the Product Marketing Team and a cross-functional team. To be successful, the candidate will bring a combination of strategic vision, communication skills, collaborative mindset, and hardware and/or software product launch experience, having worked in highly cross-functional, dynamic environments built to move fast, ruthlessly prioritize, and pivot quickly as needed to incubate future technologies.
  • Bring a strong point of view to the team, informing and guiding strategic decisions and tradeoffs related to product value and positioning, features, schedules, cost, pricing, and lifecycle management
  • Define product positioning, naming, audience definition and sizing for a portfolio of products and technologies
  • Lead market assessment and sizing through quantitative analysis, qualitative feedback and represent the consumer point of view internally with Product Management and cross-functional teams in the prioritization, design and development of innovative devices and experiences
  • Partner closely with product teams to define the strategy, roadmap and success metrics for products and core technology solutions, ensuring product market fit and long-term lifecycle management
  • Lead the definition and development of the go-to-market strategy across the organization that is grounded in the consumer journey framework, user insights and market dynamics
  • Lead the go-to-market cross-functional teams toward execution and launch of the GTM strategy through EOL. Be the one point of contact for communicating GTM updates and reviews with cross functional leadership
  • Partner with the marketing team on development of marketing programs and strategies that tap into consumer insights
  • Design tests, measure impact and learn through a results-driven mindset with cross-functional teams (CRM, Performance Marketing, Growth, Social)
  • Partner with our Sales team on category analysis, presentation materials and in-store/online creative assets for in-market products
  • 10+ years experience with inbound and outbound product marketing for consumer tech hardware and/or software for hardware products
  • Combination of strategic product marketing experience and hands-on tactical execution
  • Experience with consumer research and proficiency in using data and insights to inform product and GTM strategy
  • Experience working in a cross-functional capacity within a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Experience delivering product launch results with internal and external partners including Production, Brand, Sales and PR
  • Marketing experience in consumer hardware, software products and electronics
  • Experience and/or domain knowledge in AR, smart home, wearable devices, mobile devices, and/or hardware/software platforms
  • BA/BS degree in marketing, business, product development, or related field
  • MBA degree
