We are in rapid growth mode in the US and are looking for a digital marketing associate to support influencer programs for Co-marketing and In-store initiatives. This role will sit within the US Marketing team, which is a passionate, high-performing, consumer-obsessed group focused on making Klarna a world-famous global brand that is known, respected and loved by consumers and retailers.
Klarna is looking for an individual who loves influencers on a personal level. Has a clear grasp of pop-culture and trends. And a keen eye for strong content. We need a very strong communicator and storyteller. You are proactive by nature and come up with new thinking that adds value. You enjoy a high pace environment, can quickly adapt to change and have the ability to prioritize your work effectively, while taking personal ownership of hands-on delivery.
You have a deep knowledge and expertise in the creator/influencer space, across relationship & talent management, platform trends, measurement. Any previous experience with affiliate ecosystems is a plus. You’re naturally in-the-know on the hottest up-and-coming influencer personalities, trends, and communities – particularly in Home, Fashion, Beauty, and lifestyle categories. You love building from the ground up, and are a true self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit.
The right candidate will have proven experience in using social media a/o influencer marketing to achieve performance marketing goals.
This role to begin will be focused on driving social media and influencer efforts for co-marketing and in-store internal stakeholders.
What you will do:
    • The overarching role is to craft influencer strategies for the US, own and drive the execution of each strategy as well as oversee the day-to-day management of any agencies scopes to drive influencer campaigns
    • Work directly with head of social and influencer in the US
    • Manage multiple workflows for concurrent influencer campaigns end to end (this includes development of target lists, influencer briefs, contracting and negotiations, content reviews, and gathering metrics)
    • Input into strategy for influencer marketing, inclusive of roadmap, channel strategy, campaigns, and partnership development for all co-mkg and in-store activations
    • Cultivate and foster positive relationships with creators, influencer partners and talent contacts on behalf of Klarna and our merchants
    • Develop a database of influencer partners and potential targets that align with Klarna and offer potential value connect authentic storytelling with our service / solutions
    • Identify compelling ways to tap creators/influencers to drive performance objectives for co-mkg, specifically conversion / increase Klarna share of check-out
    • Act as an external and internal advocate, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive programs forward
    • Liaise with co-marketing support team on content needs for merchant partners, developing the creative briefs and project managing content production
    • Partner closely with co-marketers to understand the needs of the merchant and identify creative ways to support our merchant partners via Klarna owned social channels
    • Develop learnings and analyze performance of social content, both influencer and owned, that is tied to co-marketing a/o in-store
You have:
    • 2-3 years experience at a startup or agency with a focus in Social/Influencer. Experience in tech or lifestyle is a plus
    • Strong collaborator with experience working cross functionally and with external stakeholders
    • Data-driven by nature to determine goals and benchmarks to measure the success of social and influencer programs
    • Deep understanding of the influencer landscape Comfortable in Google office suite and workspace (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, etc)
    • Positive, go-getter attitude; passion for content, storytelling, and Internet culture
    • Ability to work autonomously and complete multiple projects within time constraints and with strong attention to detail
