Your Opportunity
As part of our commitment to hiring and training the next generation of Account Executives in Commercial Sales, New Relic is launching an Associate xDR incubator program called Ignite|GTM.
As an AxDR, you can expect hands-on mentorship, training and pairing with some extraordinarily bright sales professionals that will begin to shape you into a successful Account Executive. You will join a select, smaller cohort of early career sales professionals for a 24 month training program at the end of which you'll be placed in a long-term position on a sales team.
In this program, you will work with your fellow AxDRs to learn how we sell and prospect clients at New Relic, deploy New Relic’s products, uplevel your skills, and gain hands-on sales experience by rotating through different sales teams.
You'll be successful as an AxDR because you thrive in a diverse team environment and are excited to develop your sales career in a Software as a Service (SaaS)-based high-tech company that has an ever-growing demand for its solutions. You will be joining a team that supports career development and provides you with the tools, resources, and leadership to be successful.
What You’ll Do
  • Train and equip yourself for a long term career in sales at New Relic
  • Actively participate in coaching and mentoring settings to learn how we conduct business at New Relic
  • Collaborate with with your cohort to tackle group projects
  • Contribute to regular team meetings to plan work on an ongoing basis
  • Give and receive constructive feedback
Your Qualifications
Must-have:
  • 0-1 year of sales experience

Nice-to-have:
  • College degree
  • Intern experiences at other Software as a Service (SaaS) companies
  • Experience using Salesforce.com or other Client Relationship Management (CRM)
  • Advanced critical thinking skills
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
