PepsiCo’s AR Service Delivery Projects Team is part of the North America Shared Services (NASS) Team. The NASS AR Service Delivery Projects Team is a small, but influential team within our enterprise. We support the multi-location AR Service Delivery Teams in many ways. Here are a few: providing guidance on current processes and potential changes; removing obstacles that inhibit forward progress; managing projects that drive process improvements and efficiencies; auditing for superior customer service. The NASS AR Service Delivery Projects Team operates at the heart of our business success by ensuring we maintain our standing as a company of operational excellence.
As a Finance Associate Analyst, you will:

  • Exercise critical thinking to understand current processes and identify areas of opportunity as business needs evolve or as systems change

    • Includes identifying and quantifying resource and service level impacts

  • Successfully manage multiple highly visible, time-sensitive projects concurrently, across several teams/functions

    • Actively participate in planning sessions, process development, change management, and training for a variety of projects

  • Continuously develop a working knowledge of all processes that can impact AR, utilizing available resources

  • Establish relationships with upstream and downstream process owners

  • Leverage relationships to execute the shared objective of effectively identifying and adopting process opportunities and driving accuracy in results

  • Conduct operational, compliance, and financial audits on a regular cadence to identify risks, knowledge gaps, and/or process gaps that may negatively impact the successful execution of our shared business objectives

    • Manage the communication of audit findings, obtain root cause of issues found, and facilitate timely completion of remediation documentation

  • Perform annual reviews of Service Delivery AR process documentation to ensure alignment with current processes
  • Maintain accurate team process documentation
  • Be empowered to act like an owner, which includes the ability to work independently with minimal direction from direct leadership

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Business or related field) or equivalent experience

  • Open to changes and new ways of working and willing to challenge the "status quo"

  • Exceptionally strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills

  • Exceptionally strong team orientation and ability to work through others

  • Demonstrates the ability to simplify complex concepts and communicate in a digestible way

  • Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface with multiple levels of internal and external business partners

  • Ability to deliver high-quality outcomes particularly under tight timelines

  • Detail-oriented in communication, documentation, and project deliverables

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize work with minimal direction

  • Demonstrates comfort with ambiguity and ability to integrate disparate sources of information
  • Ability to perform and communicate effectively in a remote environment
  • This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 – 2 years experience in Accounts Receivable

  • 1 – 2 years experience with credit management, collections, and dispute management

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to understand the big picture without losing sight of details

  • Intellectually curious with a strong desire to learn

  • Proven relationship-building skills

  • Customer Service focused with a sense of urgency mindset

  • Proven project management skills, including the ability to lead, manage and complete multiple concurrent projects involving multiple stakeholders

  • Training experience - creating and delivering training

  • Can glean insights from data and drive action based on those insights

  • Can assess trade-offs and weigh qualitative and quantitative factors in decision-making

  • Shows flexibility and adaptability in managing new concepts, ideas, technologies

  • Shows flexibility in leveraging different approaches to analyzing problems
