Job Description
Main purposes:
  • Support Global Food Safety strategy with the deployment of the Global Sanitation Standard within EER
  • Provide SME direction on the principles of contamination, chemicals and sanitation equipment & hygienic design- Execute
  • Support hazard and contaminant control through existing sanitation program and global manuals- Execute
  • Support new product innovation through sanitation chemistry/process validation- Execute
  • Collaborate with sector functional teams to drive Winning with Purpose and our
  • Faster, Stronger, Better agendas related to sanitation- Consult
  • Deliver against Global Sanitation Authority People Capability Build agenda- Execute
  • Lead rollout of Global Sanitation Authority team new process technology
  • initiatives- Execute

Your profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Technology, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology or other related technical field or a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in, Operations, R&D, or Quality
  • Able to provide guidance/support appropriately to meet business timelines; successfully handle adverse circumstances.
  • Ability to achieve quality results consistently despite obstacles. Monitors progress against goals, identifies issues and takes corrective action early.
  • Capable of influencing people regarding quality issues. A team oriented person with skills that effectively bring people and issues to decisive resolution. Ability to develop positive working relationships with manufacturing personnel and gain commitment from others to accomplish work.

  • Qualified to minimum Degree level in Food Science, Food Microbiology or a related discipline, advance degree preferred
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of food/drink Food Safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong integrity, enabling reasoned quality and food safety advice to be given without being pressured by other influences.
  • A detailed knowledge of food manufacturing and an understanding of food industry quality management systems.
  • Ability to self-manage resource with leadership and management experience and personal accountability for results
  • Technical knowledge of product, process and packaging development
  • Excellent eye for detail with the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Able to think innovatively and ensure food safety and quality are continuously on the agenda.
  • Able to set a clear, future focused direction, taking into consideration internal and external best-practice
