Tableau Public is being re-imagined and our team is building the next generation platform that will encourage users at all levels to share their breathtaking visualizations and develop a portfolio to boost their career within the data community. In addition, we want to augment this platform for both our users and vendors by building a new marketplace to engage with and grow the Tableau ecosystem.
As a team member you would be working in a cross-functional environment and collaborating with our Engineering as well as UX/Design teams. Our team uses experimentation and constant customer feedback to ensure we are building what our customers want.

Join a diverse group of product managers who collaborate as members of cross-functional feature teams
Bring, learn, and share each others craft of product management, through strong collaborative style and practiced habits
Encourage innovative solutions with a relentless customer focus
Create a vision for your area. Represent and evangelize Tableau’s vision and perspective on data within the company and to customers
Drive feature project definition, ensure cross-functional coordination (engineers, designers, management) toward successful delivery of your features and recommend process improvements to increase engineering team efficiency and velocity.
Collaborate user experience design to shape the direction of the product and create delightful experiences for our customers
Drive a cross-functional team with support, sales, and marketing to resolve end to end customer issues
Advocate for the product and be an evangelist of your features
Build strong partnerships across Tableau to identify opportunities to improve our products
Ensure the rest of the company has visibility into product plans and execution

Related Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent professional experience.
This role is for someone with two or more years of experience in the tech industry and one or more years’ experience as a product manager.
