As Account receivable specialist/ Customer care specialist, Payments (m / f / d) in the Convenience Team for Case Management Central Europe within the FinTech subsidiary Zalando Payments GmbH, you will support the company with payment processing, administration and problem solving, as well as bridge the convenience teams with customer care.
You will be responsible for tasks in accounts receivable for different countries: offer 3rd level support and training for our customer care teams and on the other hand support the process improvements in our payment processes in convenience team.
WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED
You will act as the first point of contact for colleagues in Customer Care for any questions related to payment transactions and provide support with training
You will process invoices and work with payment complaints
You will deal with administrative activities in the Accounts Receivable group
You will take over communication with external payment service providers, check processes in e-banking portals and support communication with banks
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Completed commercial trainings and ideally several years of experience in the relevant professional environment
Experience using accounting software (SAP), other relevant programs (especially Excel). Knowledge of Salesforce and Google Suite is nice to have.
Independent and reliable team member, attentive to detail, self-organized, able to set priorities
A team player, able to share the knowledge and deal with conflict situations. Solution-oriented
Spoken and written German is absolutely essential, as well as a good command of English
